R4 Distribution Policy
CDIE has developed a comprehensive distribution policy for current R4 documents in order to make them as widely available as possible while protecting any procurement-sensitive information that they may contain.
R4s on the USAID corporate web
The results review portion of the R4, together with non-budget related annexes, are processed into the Development Experience System (institutional memory) and made available in Acrobat PDF format on USAID's corporate web via this site.
The resource request portion of the R4, and budget-related annexes, are considered sensitive documents and are not available electronically on the corporate web.
USAID direct hire staff can request paper or electronic copies of the complete R4 document from CDIE's Development Experience Clearinghouse. The DEC can supply requestors with the electronic source files for the documents (e.g., MSWord or Excel).
Public release of R4 documents
The results review portion of the FY2001 R4s will be made available to the public in July 1999. Complete R4s, including the resource request, are released to the public 2 calendar years after the year they were submitted (e.g., this year's R4s will be released in January 2001).
Questions about the release policy should be directed to Lee White, PPC/CDIE/DIO.
